In one sentence: Full Page Screenshot Pro captures, edits, and stores screenshots on your device; screenshots are not uploaded, and Supporter Pro contacts Polar (polar.sh) only when you verify a license key.
Single purpose
The extension has one purpose: capturing screenshots of web pages (full page, visible area, a selected area or element, a custom range, or a scrollable panel) and letting you annotate, redact, and export them locally.

Screenshot images, page content, and browsing information are never placed in synced storage and never transmitted anywhere.
The only third party: Polar
If you purchase Supporter Pro and enter a license key, the extension sends the license and activation details needed to verify that purchase to Polar (polar.sh), the payment and licensing provider, over an encrypted HTTPS connection. This happens only when you click "Verify" and is required to confirm your purchase and enforce the license's device-activation limit. No screenshot data, page content, browsing data, or personal information is ever sent to Polar. Polar's handling of data you provide during checkout is governed by Polar's privacy policy.
There are no other recipients. User data is not sold, rented, or transferred to any other party, and is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or creditworthiness/lending purposes.
What the extension never does
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind.
- No reading of page content beyond producing the screenshot you asked for.
- No uploading of screenshots or page data — there is no server to upload to.
- No remote code loaded by the extension.
Why the extension asks for its permissions
- Access to all websites (
<all_urls>) — injects the bundled, local capture script into the page you are screenshotting. This is what makes keyboard-shortcut, right-click, batch, and scheduled captures work, and lets scrolling captures be stitched together. The script measures the page layout and captures pixels; it does not read or transmit page content for any other purpose. - Tabs — batch capture iterates your open tabs; scheduled capture opens the URLs you listed; the editor opens in a new tab.
- Storage / Unlimited storage — keeps your settings and capture history on your device.
- Downloads — saves screenshots to your Downloads folder when you enable auto-download or click a download button.
- Alarms — runs the scheduled batch captures you configure. A scheduled capture autonomously opens and captures the URLs you listed, on the interval you chose.
- Context menus — the right-click "Capture…" shortcuts.
- Clipboard write — copies an image to your clipboard only when you click a Copy button.
- Active tab / Scripting — capture the tab you invoked the extension on.
Limited Use statement
The extension's use of information obtained from web pages adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: data is used only to provide the single user-facing purpose described above, is never sold or used for advertising, and is never transferred except as described in "The only third party: Polar."
Security
The single network call the extension can make (license validation) uses HTTPS. Everything else stays in your browser's local extension storage. Note that anyone with access to your browser profile can view your locally stored captures, just like your downloads folder.
Retention and your controls
- Captures are kept locally until you delete them, or until the automatic cleanup removes the oldest entries (history is capped at 5 captures for free users, 20 for Supporter Pro, and 150 MB overall).
- Delete any capture from the popup's Recent Captures list or the editor's Delete button.
- Removing the extension deletes its local storage; Chrome also removes the extension's synced settings.
- Manage or deactivate license device activations through Polar's customer portal.
Children
The extension is a general-audience developer/productivity tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
